Babine Truck & Equipment is seeking a Branch Manager/Service manager for their Prince Rupert location. It is a smaller location with four technicians, a parts person and service advisor. It is a hands-on roll that includes managing the branch as well the service department.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales growth and profitability in all areas of the branch
• Manage and develop all employees in the branch with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce that is focused on the long-term success of the company, customers, and employees
• Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
• Manage branch account receivables in conjunction with the administration
• Manage the service department
  • Directly manage technicians
  • Dispatches service work
  • Create and reviews work orders as needed
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

• 3 years or more managerial experience in truck repair
• Completion of post-secondary certificate, diploma, degree is an asset
• Strong mathematical and financial analysis skills
• Strong understanding of the truck and trailer service industry
• Thorough knowledge of customer service dynamics and processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Focus on efficiency – looks to accomplish the most with available time and resources
• Ability to anticipate and deal with future problems and opportunities
• Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
• Effective problem solving and negotiating skills

 Compensation:

• This is a full-time position
• Compensation commensurate based on experience
